Maxi-mum Inspiration

Well I have been busy working and working, and I have been doing a lot of working lately also.  So have not been up to much crafty stuff.  I barley have enough energy to eat let alone make stuff.  However, I doubt I will ever be tired enough not to sew something.  I have been liking these maxi skirts I have been seeing lately and of course its that time of the year so why not!  Here are a few of the types I really like. 



All of these were on Pinterest of course. 


1.  I like the top ruffle and the relaxed style of this dress.  I don't know where I would wear it though, unless I was on vacation or something.  Perhaps with a Blazer and different shoes. 















2.  This one is actually my favorite.  I like that you could get away with wearing this to work and not look to "beachy".  And I really like it paired with that military-esque jacket/shirt.

3.  This one also looks like you could wear it to work or to a party.  I like the top on this.  I always like those scoop type necks better that v necks.  I am a little large on top so I am always scared of falling out of those.  

 

I have a perfect fabric that I found the other day that I am planning on making a maxi today.  I will update with photos after.
