Cars, Cars, Cars.....

Ugh, let me just start here.  Fabric project has not been that great.  I just don't have anywhere good to hang it up.  All the spots in my hallways have either a fire alarm or a light fixture in them so I don't think that would work.

This may be a project that takes some time or is abandoned.  I really need a new do fabric storage system still tho, I'll have to keep my eyes out.  I swear this has not been my year so far.

Example, I'm driving home from work the other day and my car seems to be acting strange.  I look at the temperature indicator and it was like off the charts.

I pulled over.  Just great.  I buy some oil quick and add some coolant and try to get home.  While I am driving down the road I can see smoke billowing from underneath my hood.  I pulled over again and let it sit for a min before trying again.  Then, the unthinkable happened.  On a small, two lane bridge crossing into my town, my car just dies.

Totally dead, no battery or anything.  I instantly start bawling.  I am crying so hard, but I manage to call AAA and get a tow truck on the way.  Cops come and push my car out of traffic, which was super embarrassing.  Anyway I got it to the shop today and they think its just the water pump not like a blown motor, which is what I was thinking.


I do still have a project to do.  My friends daughters 3rd birthday is coming up so I wanted to make her a couple "play" outfits.   Maybe like a tutu, or a princess dress and hat.  I am leaning on the tutu from my Favorite Things.








 I but she would use a tutu more.  If I was 3 I would like a little tutu that I could play in or even wear over my regular clothes.  I'm thinking a pink palate, maybe like light and vibrant pinks mixed together.  Could even mix some black in to keep it cool.  OOooOO maybe I can find something sparkly to use.

Anyway we would be getting the ol car back sometime Monday, then I am hoping to go to get some fabric for the tutu!
