Look out for the Stamp-ede!!

Hello again.  Another little project that I have seen a couple of places.  I really am starting to get into stamps, and stamping as an art.  I saw this on Pinterest,

I figured this looks like something that I could handle, so I decided to try. I already have a bunch of stamps in my little craft stash so I just decided to use the back of one of those. So I gathered up my supplies,

and wrapped my little vampire stamp in some of the yarn that I have left over from the yarn bowl.

I have some watercolor paper, which may not be the best but you gotta work with what you got.
I used some food coloring because thats the only thing that I have that is not black.

I took the wrapped stamp and placed it in little pools of the food coloring, that way the yarn could soak up the color.
It gave me a great yellow this try, the first stamp!  I decided to try and got for a ombre effect where it got darker with the darker food coloring.

Then I decided to try and get a black one, so here is my black acrylic paint with the yarn awaiting wrapping,

And the finished product.  I looove this black one.  I am going to make so many more of these you don't even know.
